The book is signed by Thalia Mara on the first front free endpaper with an inscription to the former Jackson, Mississippi Mayor Dale Danks and Mrs. Dale Danks. Laid in are two letters: one from Thalia Mara to Dale Danks and one from Thalia Mara to Carolyn Danks.
