From the Southern Living arbiter of Southern food and lifestyle, and caterer, TV personality, and cooking teacher Elizabeth Heiskell, comes this revamp of the number one best-selling Southern Living cookbook of all time, Southern Living Party Cookbook (1972).

This essential guide to entertaining is divided by occasion and offers multiple menus and party ideas for each one, so that you have a template for every celebratory scenario life serves up. All the great advice is delivered with classic Southern flair and in Elizabeth's say-it-like-it-is, irreverent style. Having paid her dues burning the midnight oil night after night as Oxford, Mississippi's go-to caterer, Elizabeth knows her way around a kitchen and can put on a party that guests won't soon forget, whether it's a last-minute affair or has been weeks in the planning. In this fresh update to the best-selling Southern Living Party Cookbook of the our mothers' and grandmothers' era, Elizabeth provides modern updates and timely advice for the hosts of today that is also a wonderful refresher for seasoned entertainers of any age or experience. More than a book of recipes, The Southern Living Party Cookbook is an entertaining handbook loaded with lifestyle tips and hilarious Heiskell stories, along with lush photography to help you get the look from table setting to plated dish.

She started her food journey with courses at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
