Fine in decorated boards with original glassine wrapper and postal mailer. No previous owner markings. Note the little tear (upper right corner) on the glassine wrapper but everything else is fine on this charming rarity.

This edition is limited to 1500 copies, privately printed for the friends of the author and her publishers as a New Year's Greeting. The text was originally delivered by Miss Welty at the University of Washington in August 1947.
