A beautiful copy of Faulkner's second novel. The original dust jacket is not price clipped with mild edge wear and fading. There are no previous owner markings and the binding is tight and straight. The book has noted first issue points: yellow lettering on dark blue cloth boards, top page edges are stained yellow, and blue and white decorated end papers.

A delightful surprise, Faulkner’s second novel introduces us to a colorful band of passengers on a boating excursion from New Orleans. This engaging, high-spirited novel—which Faulkner wrote “for the sake of writing because it was fun”—offers a fascinating glimpse of Faulkner as a young artist.
