Margerita Jurkovic is a Slovenian lawyer with a PhD in criminal law and human rights. She is the CEO of a non-profit that works with victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. As apart of this organization, she also serves as a neutral evaluator in divorce cases. In 2018 she graduated magna cum laude from the Mississippi College School of Law, where she received her second Master of Law. During her time in Mississippi, she also specialized in negotiations and entertainment law at Frascogna Entertainment Law, a Division of Frascogna Courtney, PLLC. She is a member of the Slovenian Ombudsman Board and has served as a member of a governmental group advocating against human trafficking since 2011. During the Fall of 2018 she traveled throughout the southeast attending football games from youth leagues all the way to university Division I. Her experiences resulted in her first book, Margerita’s Gridiron Adventure, which will be released in August of 2019.
