This is Garbo's second novel in the Nick Bradshaw Series.
Just like in the first novel, Hammerhead, you will not be able to put this fast-paced thriller down. From the first few paragraphs until the end, Garbo delivers in this sequel a story that will keep you glued to the edge of your seat. Garbo's writing style features realism and attention to detail. The reader can almost smell the gunsmoke and feel the vibration of the helicopter rotors.
Kobold picks up a few months after the conclusion of Operation Hammerhead in the first novel. Nick Bradshaw has taken a new position at the FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., and a new threat looms on the horizon. CIA Special Activities Division Agent Don Powers and his team find themselves in a whirlwind of a global terror plot manifested by Russia and its allies. The plot reaches FBI headquarters, and Nick is again thrust into the fray as he attempts to help Agent Powers and a group of US Army Special Forces take down the group that threatens to utilize this new weapon against the United States and its Allies in Europe.
The author,
Jason Garbo
, grew up in central Mississippi and currently resides in south Louisiana along with his wife, son, and daughter. Garbo has served the public for over 17 years in law enforcement, with over ten years spent in the special operations community, where he served on state and federal SRT and SWAT teams. He is currently still employed in the public sector. His first novel, Hammerhead, and his second, KOBOLD, have been touted for Garbo's attention to detail, immersing the reader within the novel.
