Description

West Hatfield, Massachusetts: Pennyroyal Press (1989)

Limited Edition. Signed.

One of six copies (not numbered, out of series) signed by the author, Norman Maclean, and the wood engraver, Barry Moser, on a special limitation page in the back of the book.

The book is bound in golden yellow leather and features marbled end papers and wood engravings throughout. The book is housed in a linen clam shell case with a leather spine with gilt lettering. A hand-tied fishing lure is expertly housed inside the case in addition to a collection of 13 wood engravings which are housed in a specially made linen folder.

Exquisite craftsmanship in very fine condition.

Based on Norman Maclean's childhood experiences, A River Runs Through It has established itself as one of the most moving stories of our time; it captivates readers with vivid descriptions of life along Montana's Big Blackfoot River and its near magical blend of fly fishing with the troubling affections of the heart.
